I have dry shaved while camping and that FELT pretty traditional. Like shaving with flaked flint.

LOL. Camping was the exception. The men in my family would use aerosols when warm water wasn’t easy to come by.

I sometimes dry shave with a DE. Usually, a thin cap Old Type. This, to touch up a spot or two in the evening when I don't need to do a full second shave.
So, wet shaving means I get the brush, soap and water going.
And, I don't use a towel, either. I face lather so I don't have that mess of lather to clean up. A damp washcloth does the job. I let my face air dry, then apply Lubriderm by way of an AS.
