my turn to answer this fine gentleman’s question

Only one shave but they are pretty close with some nuances I need to confirm. 26mm B16 doesn’t seem treated but 27mm b13 is a little bit but not much. Fortunately not slimy at all. Both are soft and splay easily which is my preference. I purchased both used. I need more time. Fun fun!

My B14 is definitely treated, but not in a bad way, not slimy at all, and one sees it mainly after drying how the tips clump together and dry hard. My B16 does not seem to be treated.

B16 is wonderful- medium backbone, enough for scrub but modern density so has fantastic lather and release with super soft tips that are very natural feeling. Not as dense at 8,13,14,15 but still has that legendary DG cloud feel.

The Jefferson “Mermen”

14 has perhaps the most legendary “DG cloud” feel. Has nice density with low moderate gelling, excellent lather and release- just an absolute pleasure to use every time

I can’t say I’m an expert but Scott has tied fans as far as I have seen.
