Just saw this. Dang, missed one already -- used a Simpson T2 Trafalgar synthetic this morning. But that will change tout suite.

Got a nice SOC that needs breaking in, an Omega that's getting there and a Wilkinson Sword that's not too bad.

Since I'm also suggesting we start "Pheasant Phridays" for the Fasan users, I guess I'll just add the Semogue to Friday's pile of kit and go hog-wild.

Omega 10005 with some Palmolive. Face lathering, of course: one of the great reasons to use boar.

Used a large pro barber style brush for day three that Rudy Vey made. First time use on the face. Definitely will be gravitating to this type of handle for any future brushes. Pics are after two minutes of loading, after face lathering one pass, and post shave.

All I use are boar brushes, so by default, I guess I'm participating! Tuesday was my Omega 49 with Cella, and yesterday was my Purple B&B Essential lathering some Tabac. Today's brush: Semogue 2000, lathering up some Fine American Blend by RazoRock that I forgot I hadn't finished!

When I use Creams and paint the lather on my face, this is my go-to brush. The Pro48 is a very good performing boar.

Excellent shave.

I don't have a Semogue yet, but have one in the mail. Looking forward to trying it.

I have two; the 2000, and a 620. Both are excellent, but very different brushes. Semogues take a little longer to break in, I find, but are well worth the time and effort.
