I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty scruffy by the end of day two. I don't know if my face would mind it but it would cut into my evenings with the Mrs. (I shave after dinner). By time I get done with my whole little ritual I've been sequestered away for half an hour or more. I come out all clean cut, happy and smelling nice though.

I'm a morning shaver and my inability to shave daily works out quite well for our morning routine. On shave days I shave while my wife sorts the kids and dogs breakfast, or non shave days my wife washes her hair and I sort the kids and dogs breakfast

Already started using a boar to shave, the goal is great shaves of course, and to break in my brushes. Need a length of runway thiugh for two brushes so now is as good a time as any. Will use the Essentials brush until end of November, then the Jade for all of DecBoar

I am looking at Semogue C5 Torga, or a Zenith to add to this round up .

I have purposely saved the Omega Jade to use this Decemboar! The other 2 never used Omegas were meant to be pifs to get my buddies into wet shaving, but they were not interested! Their loss is my gain !

@Rudy Vey posted a personal announcement stating he will be having surgery on 1 December and is expected to be recovering until early-mid February.

So in appreciation for his contributions and craftsmanship, I will limit my brush usage to my RV Shaving options. Unfortunately I only have badger and synthetic brushes from which to choose, but all of the others will be back in rotation early next year.

It's been used a fair few times since then. I didn't do any particular breaking in, just lathered and used it. It is now a very comfortable brush indeed.

I'm impatiently waiting for my new unbleached Zenith 502BC XCE. I have a Semogue with a wooden handle but the coloring chipped off and now it's down to bare wood and I hate how it feels to the touch after it gets wet. Didn't want to chip in 22 euros for fast shipping so I'm hoping it will still come before Decemboar.

Well, I don't know if it's the moisture at my house, but I can't seem to dry my brushes fully. Even when I scrub a towel.

Solution?

Our dehumidifier we use for drying clothes. I have placed the brushes on sideways. Pictures and update to follow.

Along with any questions my other half ends up asking me.

Rotate a couple/few brushes so you're only using the same one every 2/3 days? I have to do that in Phoenix in the winter.

Im in! I only have one non-boar brush, so DecemBOAR is going to be an easy task. Boars are the best!

I dry my brushes on a setting bellow. Im afraid that (preety sure) somebody will tell me im damaging the brush irreversably.
