Grabbed my first single ring in a combination set, dated 1920, 100yrs this year. It has had a soap and water bath now. The leather is rough the and is going to split at the case hinge. The razor which was gold in nearly entirely brassed now. Should I polish the razor and remove the green verdigris from the handle. Is there anyway to stabilize the leather hinge? Any advice on cleaning and stabilization is appreciated. Oh and welcome to my fist ever B&B post.

Here are a couple of Black Friday sales that came in along with some eBay purchases, still waiting on a few more to arrive this week. The J model Schick is off the bay and close to mint, The Parker adjustable injector was purchased new and with the coupon code came with 40 personna blades, and I was lucky to score the NOS 74 blades off of the Bay.

Got lucky. Went to a small sale and most had passed on these. While there is a tiny tiny nick in the blade on the Wade & Butcher near the nose in the hands of the right restorer it should be a beautiful razor again. I'd do more damage in attempting to fix it that not.

yes the sample was included with my purchase. I purchased the soap and splash.

This past week I received my last orders of 2020. A few Black Friday/Cyber Monday purchases to end the year. Tomorrow I will try out the Henson and Christmas Cube. The others will be used in the following weeks. I think Cosmic Cookies will come with me on vacation next week since I removed the soap from the mug and put it into a smaller container perfect for travel. Enjoy the holiday season.

That set is over the top to just have the razor, banks and OG tubes....to see THE BRUSH and the soap is just incredible. I absolutely love the redish hue to that set, to my knowledge Gillette never did anything similar.
