DE89 issue?

Hello all,

Have been reading a bit about some having alignment issues when using Feather blades in the EJ DE89.

Lately, I've noticed that sometimes it feels like there's no blade in my razor. Razor has been dropped a few times, but not sure if that's the issue or if it's just the combination of blade and razor.

So, my question is, is it possible that there's an alignment problem from the razor being dropped? Being heavy cast metal, I'd assume it's practically impossible to bend any part of it. Just curious though, as that's all that's changed. Been using the same pack of Feather blades and never noticed it before. Nothing is visibly bent or broken...

That is possible but if the alignment is off then it's off for ALL blades not just feather's.

Haven't tried anything else in it since. Have some Crystals and Derby's left I think, will give it a shot. Thanks!

You need a pic on here of the ej with the feather in it when it feels like that.

I doubt Zamak can be bent. You might be able to dent it slightly without major damage, but it would crack before it would bend.
