DE87 or DE89

Just a curiosity question.... is there any difference between the DE87 and De89 heads or are they the same? I know there are a ton of handle options but what's the difference, if any, between the two?

Heads are the same. Only the handles are different.

It's just a matter of personal preference which handle you get. Let us know what you end up getting. If you get one, you'll be getting a nice razor that many here have used & enjoyed (including myself).

A DE89 was my first “proper” DE razor 11 years ago. I still dig it out and use it. In fact it’s in my travel wash bag at the moment.

I have a DE87 with the faux ivory handle. Very nice razor. Looks good and shaves great. Wouldn't part with it.
