I was just watching this crazy show on TLC called Extreme Cheapskates. Its just what you would guess it is, people going to crazy extremes to save money.
I didn't get into DE shaving to save money. I got into it to get better shaves, and because the equipment and various products used are totally cool.
But I must say, I have saved a fortune. Even thought I have bought a few pricey DEs, some expensive aftershaves, and a couple of good brushes, I have also reached a point where if I didn't spend another cent I am set for decades, if not my whole life. I go through one safety razor per week, but if things got bad I could go through one every two weeks or even longer. But at my present rate I am still set for a decade or more.
Forget about wasting your hard earned dough on these ridiculous cartridges. You save a bundle by getting into classic, DE shaving.
And the best aftershave ever made is still one of the cheapest -- Aqua Velva!
