so im at this little country store/gas station a few miles from home and a while back i remembered seeing some NOS Gillette blades. today i thought id go back and see if they still had any. they had two different kinds so i grabbed a pack of each (more details later). i noticed they had some other DE blades but it looked like they had a guard on them so they wouldnt shave real close, kinda like the bump fighter carts with the little guard/screen on them. naturally i cant remember the name. i almost bought some but didnt. was i seeing things or did they make a DE blade with a guard on it?
oh and the Gillette blades i bought were some US made Thins in a black/white paper pack with 4 blades and the others were the 5 pack Gillette reds that get like the worst rating ive ever seen. i remebered they had a blue pack (swedes right?), green pack and the red pack but couldnt remember which ones got the bad rap. oh well who knows i may like them. lots of fellas like Derbys and i didnt get along with them all that great. im only out $3.89. i think the Thins were like $1.10. i guess you never know til you try.
