Datil & Manzano Peppers

Last year I grew some awesome Datil pepper plants...

First round was green/purple, but yellows and reds came later...

Made Peppa Vinegar...

Then in September, lost almost all the plants when they went underwater in a hurricane.

However. Saved seeds and this year will have many more plants!

Now. A fellow hothead is giving me some Manzano peppers. Another odd, rare type.

Fruity and schoville hot like Datil, but round, black seeds, grows in the Andes?

I've never tried them but they do sound nice.
