Date of a #66 British Aristocrat?

I've got a #66 British Aristocrat that I'd like to narrow down a date on. In another thread, Achim (Mr-Razor) stated, 'The #66 comes in 1953 with Patent Pending inside the head. Since 1955 to the early 60s he comes with Patent 694 093 inside the head.' Does this mean that a #66 with the 'Patent Pending' stamp could be from either 1953 or 1954? I would interpret his statement in this way, but I wanted to check for sure.

Thanks, Achim. I think I've just decided that I'll believe my #66 with the Patent Pending stamp is from 1954 because that was the year my father was born. Thanks for the the confirmation!
