Date codes?

Is there a thread anywhere on here which lists the date codes for vintage razors?
I am looking to buy a birthyear (1968) gillette razor, preferably an adjustable, but a lot are just listed with date codes not years.
Can anybody shed any light please?

1968 = "N" 1-4 for the quarter

What you're looking for is this page over in the wiki. 1968 would be an "N" date code and should be the last year of the Slim Adjustable. You may also be able to find a Super Adjustable from '68, but that would be somewhat uncommon.

There IS something immensely satisfying about shaving with a razor that was made when I was born. My Red Tip is a bit battered, but it works just fine. Kind of like me.
