It's interesting how we all smell the same thing so differently. I don't get any of those scents when I smell it. Those are pleasant compared to what it smells like to me.

AV seems to me to be resinous, musky and floral (jasmine). It's not a strong scent.

I appreciate it's low price and I don't mind it comes in a plastic bottle if it keeps the prices low. IMO, AV is best used for what it was intended for, a lightweight lotion that helps keep your skin from drying out after a shave.

That’s the bottle I always associate with A.V. Love the ‘icy’ texture.
Like a lot of people, my grandfather used it exclusively.
I like it too. When it’s a hot, dry, summer day, it’s perfect for the situation.
