I didnt think I would get it, but I have shaving soap acquisition disorder. and not just any regular soaps...I have been buying up mostly homemade, boutique soaps....even talked to my local soap lady about me having a custom run of lime goat milk soap made

At least homemade soaps are cheap. You could have contracted High-end Shaving Soap Acquisition Disorder (HESSAD)... which you still might do. Good luck.

No worries. Only shaving soap wich i see as high end is c&s 88 in dish wich is like 90£ and people rate it not so good. I dont know any others in that price range thought.

I have that soap (sans the glass bowl - just ordered a refill puck) and it's an excellent performer.

When I first started with a DE and brush I got the basics, some creams(KMF,Poraso) and soaps(VDH,Williams) and I thought I was a cream guy for sure, just didn't see the hub bub about soap. Then I discovered the woman of my dreams.......Mama Bear, what a revelation. Since then it's been all soap all the time and with that the switch to face lathering, yowza! I find myself going to the MB site way too often planning my next attack and wishing my computer screen was a scratch and sniff. It's truly like shaving porn.

It's one of the few products I can think of that I lament the fact that It just lasts too long. I can't imagine wishing that my car only got 2 mpg so I could fill it up more often.

Ha ha, so true, I feel exactly the same way

I have narrowed my collection down to 7 soaps in rotation (speick, palmolive, tabac, irisch moos, monsavon, ogallala sweet orange and ogallala limes & peppercorns). I just killed my first tube of cream that I use when I travel (GFT Coconut) and plan on ordering a tub of TOBS Rose and a tube of GFT - GFT. I haven't made a dent in any of my soaps yet but still have at least 5 or 6 more that I want to order. This is madness I tell ya!

hell, if someone were willing to take a little off my hands....I might consider it. how would I prep the veg for the mix in the soap?
