Hello All, I thinking of picking a new straight razor for the big 50. All 3 are in the same price range. What are in the shaving qualities like for those who have them or use them? Thanks for the feedback.
Damascus Straight Razors in Ralf Aust, Theirs Issard, and Wacker.

I have a 6/8 Aust and a 7/8 Tiers-Issard. Both are very nice shavers.

Usually when you’re into blades of that caliber, you cannot go wrong. I understand that TI had QC issues awhile ago, but mine is beautifully crafted.

I rarely say this, but since you added damascus to the stipulation I would say the wacker damascus has the nicest aesthetic balance between the pattern and profile and that is really what you are buying into here. I am not really crazy about how ti has their tangs on their current blades. It's just aesthetically really off to my eye. Some of the aust patterns are really beautiful, but the grind profile is not as flowing.
I prefer the TI. I have a few.
I've got several razors from each of these three makers. I wouldn't want to loose any of them. My advice is to pick the razor you like the looks of the most. You really can't go wrong in either case. It's a bit like choosing between Mercedes and BMW.

I purchased the last Damascus Thiers Issard razor on CS. Im looking at a Damascus Wacker and R A on German Ebay site. One of German venders I’ve been doing business in the past “Dana” have been wonderful.The pricing is very reasonable. Thanks for input gentlemen. It has been helpful.
Check out Revisor, if they are still in business.
