Daily DE Cleaning?

I open the butterfly a bit and give it a thorough rinse after each shave. Sometimes, rarely, I'll flip the blade over.

Anybody do more than this?

I use a worn less abrasive 3M green scrub pad and I give my tto razor a quick scrub down. Then I run my fingers across both ends of the blades in the sink water and blot dry my blade and let it dry on top of my dry brushes. I do this every shave and never leave my blade in my razor. I find I easily get 7 shaves per blade which completes my week cycle because of the cleaning and drying procedures.

I usually take mine apart and dry it out after every shave. Once a week I'll give it a good scrub with a toothbrush

I usually give it a quick scrub with a toothbrush and rise. Then pat dry and let the rest air out.

I rinse it off. When I'm ready to change the blade I dunk the razor in Barbicide or Alcohol for a few minutes to kill anything that may have grown (typical bathroom germs). I know it's not necessary but I do it anyway - my choice.

Rinse it off, wipe both edges with alcohol, wrap it back in the original wax paper. A lot to do for some, although believe the edge lasts longer.

I just rinse mine and dry it with whatever towel I'm using. When I change the blade I give it a better clean, inside and out.

That's about all I do. I pat the blade dry before putting it back in. Every once in a while I scrub the razor with some dish soap and a toothbrush if there's soap buildup on the razor. I'll also put some mineral oil in the TTO mechanism once a year or so.

Rinse in hot water, swish it around a bit in a tupperware of 91% alcohol. I don't loosen it at all.

The reason is not for sterilization, but to cut the formation of soap scum and hasten drying. I don't push my blades, I use two per week, but I think I get a better, more comfortable third, and occasionally fourth shave because of the alcohol rinse.

Just my opinion, no science behind it, but it's what I do!

I used to meticulously clean my razor after each shave. Now, I simply run it under hot water. The blade is usually changed after 2-3 shaves so it really doesn't need cleaning overkill. When I change the blade, if the razor head is still dirty, I then clean it with the all natural Scrubbing Bubbles.

Hot water rinse and shake it dry. When the soap scum gets to thick I'll take some scrubbing bubbles to it.
