I was doing some cleaning today and emptying of boxes when I came across my dad's Old Spice shave mug and brush.
The Brush is stamped 89 Ever-Ready and the mug has Old Spice 13 Shulton on the bottom. Is there anyway to date these? I need to find someone reputable to re-knot the brush for me. Then I'm going to use these. This has brought back a lot of fond memories. Here's to you dad. |

For the mug, go to www.oldspicecollectibles.com . I'm not sure how to date the brush, though I've had an Eveready in my drawer since 1975.

The Mug appears to be an "Early Glass Mug 06" which puts it at being sold between 1961 and 1964.
Very nice, Dave. That Ever-Ready handle appears to be in great shape. A bit of polishing and with a new knot installed, you'll have the equivalent of a new brush with something extra-- priceless sentimental value. Congrats!
