So I am having a brush made that is due to my heritage. It is Irish Bog Oak with a Birds Eye Maple ring and a Sterling silver medallion inset into the base. It is to resemble a pint of Guinness. Figured I would show you all the not so quite finished progress.

Absolutely lovely! Pity that Irisch Moos is so long out of production...it'd be the perfect companion to this beauty.

I need some recommendations for a knot for this brush. What do y'all say and why?

What clan? Your brush is amazing. The Guinness idea is amazing. Who’s the maker? I have been wanting something similar with my clan shield/seal
Absolutely agree. Personally, I'd go for a two-band Shavemac D01, but that's assuming OP's into backbone and density.
