Custom Bill Bowl has landed!

After seeing Nick Danger's thread on his custom Bill Bowl, I knew I had to have one. I went with his design with straight sides and 2" height. So 4 1/2 weeks from order I took delivery of my work of art.
I went with a blue colour with white glaze on top. It came out beautifully. The bowl is just over 4" diameter and 2" deep which is enough room for my WD 24mm silvertip without being too big. The bowl is lighter weight than I thought it would be. The craftmanship is top shelf, just as I expected from Dirty Bird.

I thought Proraso Blue would be a fitting inauguration for a blue bowl. Enjoy! I am.

And Julie at Dirty Bird Pottery makes these. She has several designs of bowls and scuttles, but I went with a modified Bill Bowl. Great looking bowl, but the brush handle caught my eye! Wow!

That is the standard Whipped Dog resin handle. Nothing fancy but very comfortable to hold and very functional.
