Cussing?

I assume this forum is for adults, or at least, people old enough to shave. What are the rules on cussing?

I'm not talking about racist, sexist, etc. terms. I understand those are a no-no. As they should be. But the occasional F, S, or A-word?

I want to be myself, but I don't want to offend or break any rules.

Personally, I would not use any of those words. It's better to assume there are people who would not appreciate reading them, reading this forum.

Understood. I'm trying to be myself, but 'myself' happens to be a career soldier. And not the kind who deploys and hands out school supplies and medicines.
Thank you for the answer :)

My adult daughter has a great take on swear words. Using them too much blunts the impact. When I swear I want people to feel it.
I agree that it blunts the impact after a while. I've also found that the more a person cusses, the more honest they tend to be.
When I was in the military or serving contracts, everybody cussed. But since I'm here, I shall go by the established rules.

Shave on.

I must be blind! I can't find anything on swearing. I'm blind I'm sure.
2. Realize that we take great pride in B&B being a work-friendly, internet oasis for gentlemanly behavior. This means that profanity, inflammatory comments regarding politics and/or religion, personal attacks, pornographic images, discussions of illegal or illicit activity, or any other ungentlemanly behavior as deemed inappropriate by the Administrators/Moderators, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Offenders will be dealt with swiftly. More to the point, if it's likely to be offensive, or if you wouldn't say it to someone in person, it doesn't belong here.

Thanks <embarrassed - how did I miss that >

Swearing makes people sound ignorant to me. It means they don't have the brain power to choose the proper words to describe something
Technically, there have been studies that swearing is positively correlated with large vocabularies. Not sure how much it means, and how you interpret about swearing is a reasonable and common opinion. Just interesting to me.
