cushion strop-back hone

Found this little beauty today.
Cushion strop-back hone. It measures 6.5"x2". The paperwork that came with the stone states that it is a combonation of cushioned shell horsehide strop and choice dry hone. Perfectly cushioned with a layer of soft wool felt.
The instructions state that *five* strokes on the hone and *ten* strokes on the strop is all you need.
The hone and strop are in mint condition with box and origional instructions.

Has anyone heard/used one of these hones?

Not yet, I'm away for the holidays. I'll post some shots later this week when I get back home.
I'm currently having fun looking for treasures in the wild. I've scored one straight, two GEMs, and four different types of brushes in addition to the hone. *grin*

a lot cushin strop stones has been made with different company names. Some is great others is ok. depends who made the stone

I to have a cushioned strop-back hone. Pictures included. Mine unfortunately is got 2 cracks near the top that need avoiding if a short x-stroke is used. I've not used it now do I know how to prep it. Got verse blades I can try on it.
