Current L'Occitane Shaving Brush

Isn't l'occitane itself a French company?
They are probably getting them from China and assembling them in France.

Yes, L'Occitane is French, however, it seems to be more common for cosmetics/soap companies etc to have someone make the brush and re-brand it for them which is what they did with the old L'Occitane Plisson brush. Given they only have one brush option, I can't see it being worth the cost of them sourcing and assembling it themselves?

They may have dropped plisson due to higher profit margin. Synthetic brushes from China wholesale are like 5 bucks a pop.

Decided it would be easier to just message them. Very quick response back!

"Our shaving brush is not made with Plisson. This is produced in our factories in Provence. L'Occitane 🌻"

Give them credit for an honest answer!

Most likely assembled in France using a Chinese knot.
