Hey All,
Posting some updated pictures of my brush projects.
#1 - Random wooden handle (unknown origin) - Drilled out the concrete inside, refilled with epoxy, and redrilled new 22mm hole with forstner bit. Polished the metal ring. Also planning to sand a little and put some more poly on.
#2 - 100T - Originally coated with epoxy... BAD IDEA. Sanded all of the epoxy off, and now am working on getting it shinny. Also filled with shot/epoxy and then redrilled to 24mm hole.
#3 - 203 - Cleaned it up... sanded and polished. Waiting on unibit to grow to a 20mm hole. Then will refill with epoxy and make a clean hole with the forstner.
#4 - 300PBT - Cleaned up... polished (including ring). Waiting on unibit to grow hole.... Then will refill with epoxy and make a clean hole with the forstner.
#5 - VDH - Also originally coated with epoxy (still a BAD IDEA).... drilled to 24mm hole. Filled with epoxy and new hole made with forstner....
So far these things are going well. Still working on polishing them up. I have to say for people thinking about it... EPOXY IS NOT A GOOD FINISH.
Thats all... comments welcome.
