"Got Shoes?"
I just noticed that in the Badger and Blade Stats section at the bottom of the Forums page we welcome our newest member Cubopro.

He was a spammer who was banned after two posts. Now that he is gone, what do you miss most about him and what do you think his biggest contribution was at B&B?

I found the nuances in his lack of participation in any of the forums to be spell-binding. I don't know about you, but I miss him already.

(Just having a little fun folks.)

But it was that sense of not knowing him, even though you really didn't know him, that is captivating.

Gee Darn, guess I'll pout and fuss the rest of the week since I missed getting to know someone ...... so worthwhile. (hope I sound disappointed)

He's like the guy who quietly breaks wind in the elevator as it descends. You never really know him, but for a brief moment you are offended. And then the doors open, and you are both gone.

*tear*

Ladies and gentlemen, I understand that this is a difficult time. It's difficult for all of us, but please, let's take solice in the fact that he and Stan the Man are in a better place now.

Spammer? Really? I would like to believe that he was just offering the B&B community outrageously good deals. As soon as my check from the Nigerian Lottery arrives I am gonna do me some shopping. Come back, cubopro. Come back.

I had just PM'd him my bank's routing number, but he got banned before I could give him the account #. Now I'll never see my $1.4 million. What a travesty!

I never knew Cubopro, but then, did any of us? His interaction with the community was, dare I say, legendary. I am sure his legacy will live on in our hearts for minutes. Farewell, Cubopro!

I got a great price on a laptop and a cell phone through him. He even recommended an escrow service. Or maybe that was another guy.

If I may be so bold as to venture a guess about Cubopro:

Canned Foam guy. Vibrating razor with a light on the end so as to see how many blades are on the cartridge.

Remember, it's just a guess.

In some small way, whenever a member of our community is gone, however brief their stay, a part of us ALL goes with them. Gentlemen (and Krissy), mourn not our loss, but instead realize that we are all with him at all times, carried in his heart as he in ours...He will never be alone. He will have us to shield him from harm, to light his path through life, to silently offer tribute to his reflection every morning and with every shave...as he goes, so do we all. Travel well, little brother Cubopro...you shall not be missed, for we art with thou.
