Crown Shaving Cream

Just received a package of samples from Colonial Drug and one of the creams that was included was Crown Shaving Cream. I had never heard of this product before and used it this morning. Hint of eucalyptus. Nice lathering cream. Anyone out there have an opinion about this product?

the ingredient list looks like it should be a brushless cream only....I can't see a brush whipping up a thick lather with all that oil in it.

They say that it can be used with a brush. I did a quick search on the B&B site and most of the threads are similar to this one; someone intrigued asking if anyone has tried it. West Coast Shaving carries it; I wonder if you check with them if John would give an opinion. It certainly sounds interesting, but my problem is that it is 8 oz and $26, so while that is a decent price per ounce, its alot of both.

I have tried it use it and love it! It does whip up real nice with a brush. I shower shave so I need a lather that will fluff up thick like yogurt and not get runny from the shower steam AND still give a close comfortable irritation free shave. This stuff does it all. Currently I have 2 Esbjerg flavors ( Not bad) DR Harris Eucalyptus (OK at best) TOBS Grapefruit (Just OK) Proraso and Palmolive (Good old standards) and some of that Maca Root from Body Shop and the Crown beat them all at least for me. Hope that offers some insight

You can't be the only one because West Coast Shaving has sold out of Crown Shaving Cream. http://www.westcoastshaving.com/Crown-Shaving-Co-Shave-Cream_p_927.html

One thing I've learned, and quite expensively, is that there is no way one person can try everything. Routinely there are brands of products discussed as if "everyone has used it" that I have never tried. I think I'm about to finally give up. I like eucalyptus scented products.
