I watched an episode of secrets of the zoo where a young lady and young man were trying to get a King Cobra to crawl into a tube so that he could be examined by the doctor.

The made a mistake and were suddenly face to face with the cobra without the protection of the tube. I would have soiled my pants right then and there.

Fox squirrel. Babcock Webb WMA in Punta Gorda, FL. The first time I saw one on a trail run, I didn’t know what I was looking at, and I thought it was funny how he ran up the trail toward me, stood up and checked me out, before running up a tree.

Guy I used to work with got this on his game camera a couple of weeks ago. The state is trying to reintroduce them here but they are rarely seen. This was about 15 miles from my house, in a more highly populated area than here. Maybe they are taking hold.
