I've seen sharper pics of Bigfoot, but i'm pretty sure this is the first mink I've seen.
ventured out to the nearby everglades wildlife refuge this morning!

I've had tons. I work at a zoo, so yea. I found this Eastern Box Turtle around today and love this pic, she never fully closed. Nothing fancy, just the camera on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Baby Mediterranean House Gecko. They're all over the place here. Babies sure are cute little buggers...
Not rare, but fun to see an armadillo crossing the road somewhere in Desoto County, FL, as I headed up to phosphate mine territory in central FL for mountain biking yesterday morning.
Earlier on the drive, before the sun came up, a coyote crossed the road with a kill dangling from his snout. He quickly made it through the wire fence and into a fog draped field to the east before I could grab a shot.

I finally flipped a log I'd had my eye on, critter hunters will know what I'm talking about lol Didn't produce much but this little guy. Was hoping to score a mobile adult male trapdoor spider, scorpion or copperhead, as both have been found there, but I'll take it... He's a cute little guy, although I admittedly did him a disservice by not having wet hands.
Copperhead!? Yikes!!! You mean to tell me you hunt them on purpose? I try to stay away from them as much as possible. They are sneaky and dangerous.
I mean, I wouldn't exactly recommend it for everyone...
