Cremo lather question

Hey guys! I have been viewing this site for quite a while now, but this is my first post.

Just got a tube of Cremo and had terrific results. I am concerned with the amount of lather. I know I am not really supposed to get much, but when I applied it it pretty much disappeared. I had trouble seeing where I had and hadn't already shaved. The result was good so I guess I can't complain, but I wanted to know what type of lather other users seem to get while getting good results in their shave.

For reference, I splashed my face with hot water immediately before applying the cream, so my face was dripping wet.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

This cream does not lather much, but seems to lather a little more with added water. Work your brush or fingers on your face. If that does not work then you might have too little product.

It is different, but you can get a lovely close irritation free shave.

That is about it with Cremo. In fact I will use it as a thin layer and go with another cream sometimes on top if time permits. it is a great cream to travel with or use when You do not have time for the brush. Very slick stuff, wish the scent was better.

Thanks for the help guys. I will try it as a preshave with my proraso and we will see how it goes.

Cremo is not a pre-shave and it is not a lathering cream. Wet your face, slap the cremo on, keep wetting your face as it dries and that the whole story.
