Creed Soap Users...

how is that bowl? From the pictures that have been posted, it doesn't look like there is any sort of finish on it. Will it last as long as the soap?

I found out from an email to Creed that they don't sell refill soap (ala Pens, et al). :thumbdown

That bowl doesn't deserve a soap that good inside it.

The bowl should have been made out of rubber, when wet it changes shape but then it goes back to its original shape... but the soap :w00t::thumbup::thumbup:

Would you say it's the same quality as the Knize 10 soap?

The K10 bowel is more dense which may be from the bowl being smaller than the Creed bowl. But they look the same, though my K10 hasn't cracked and took well to being sanded and finished.

Has anybody thought about finishing the inside of a Creed bowl?

My GIT is too warped to try to restore but I plan on to try on my Vetiver when it arrives. My K10 came out pretty good, just wish I spent more time on the sanding.

The sticker on the bowl is what is really tacky.

What's the reason that they don't sell refills? It's a mystery to me and I find it very stupid to buy every time a new bowl!

You pay 68 American dollars, 68 dollars you (hopefully) earned working hard & you've already paid taxes for them.

For those 68 dollars you get a bowl that you have to finish yourself if it's going to last.

That is so disrespectful to all potential customers that I just can't see how anyone want's to buy a product like that :cursing:

I suppose they took a page out of the computer manufacturers book and just made the bowls so they'd be obsolete soon enough so you'll have to buy a whole new one.

Maybe somebody should tell them there's more money in making a quality bowl as well as selling refills...

I hope the soap is pretty darn good though to put up with all of the hassel.

Soap is one of the best I've had. Especially since it has lanolin.:thumbup1:

I am hoping they have made it to Neiman Marcus by the next time I get to the mall, so I can get a whiff of the Vetiver and Santal soaps. I just couldn't justify dropping that kind of coin without a sniff first.
