Cracked Handle on a badger brush

Guys,

I am really disappointed My 30mm shaving brush handle has developed a crack. I really love the knot and it was quite expensive.

So my question is can I have the same knot refitted into a new handle? Is that possible? Old knot New handle?

Absolutely possible! The only trick will be to find another handle that you like that will accept a 30mm knot. For vintage brushes you will have to look at the longer barber style or find one the will leave you enough room to bore out. For something custom get in touch with one of the tallented artisans (Rudy Vey, Elite Razor, etc.) and open a dialogue about what you want. Take your time removing the knot from your old brush, I found a bench vise works well to slowly apply pressure and forcing the handle to crack for easier removal.
