Here is a vintage Crabtree & Evelyn mysore sandalwood shave soap with bowl.
It was purchased as new from online auction and appears to be vintage 1970's or 1980's.
There is no ingredients list on the packaging, only "©1978" and "Made in England".
I have shaved with it once, face lathering from the puck bottom.
Shaves great, I'm guessing this is a tallow soap.
Scent is there but faint, perhaps only a fraction of original scent.
Note that I plan to keep 1.5 oz, to be carved from the bottom, and this sale is for the TOP HALF of the puck!
The top molding will remain as shown and will remain with the wooden bowl and box, see pic.
I estimate that the remaining puck will be at least 1.8 oz.
