Crabtree and Evelyn discontinuing entire shave line?

Just wanted to see if anyone else has heard this. I was in the C&E in the Cherry Creek mall in Denver, Co and the manager was speaking with me about their shave soaps and such and I mentioned how much I enjoy the scent of the Sienna and she said "you better buy it up then, we have recently been told they are scrapping the entire shaving line."

Anyone else heard this? can anyone else ask a store in their area?

My aunt is a saleslady at C&E, I will ask her if she's heard anything. I just sent off an email to customer care to confirm/deny this rumour. Based on a quick google, this seems like a frequent threat/recurring rumour.

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail Crabtree & Evelyn with your inquiry. We are happy to be able to tell you that we do not have any plans on discontinuing our men’s line. Our men’s line is so popular that we have expanded it to add a new fragrance “West Indian Lime”. If we can be of any other assistance in the future please let us know.

I had stopped by a C&E store during the July 4th week and the associate said that C&E was looking at expanding the men's line-up.

This reminds me of the furniture store in town that has a going out of business sale every couple months.

"Going out of business" is the only way a furniture store can remain IN business.

There's one about 500ft from my front door. I've lived here since 1994, and for 3 months out of every 4, they have had a "going out of business" sign up.

It might be time for our OP to return to C&E and see if the Manager enjoys a little humble pie.

I went into C&E today and bought some of their soaps and a cream to try. I asked them about the line and the manager told me they there was talk about discontinuing the Sienna line, but that they were going to expand everything else probably with scented shave oils and more accessories.
