Maggard Razors now carries this hard to find cream. I just received my order yesterday (as if I needed any more cream). Looking Forward to trying it. Who else is gonna get it now?

Not me.
Tried it about two years ago and was not impressed.
If I remember correctly, I did not even finish the tube.
I had already so many shaving soaps and creams that I felt obliged to eliminate some that were far better than Couto.
If one would like to try some of the best Portuguese shaving creams and soaps, there is obviously quite pricey Musgo Real, not so pricey Musgo (no ‘Real’ here) and Mogno, O Melhor, and a - favourite of mine that is regrettably not often talked about - Antiga Barbearia de Bairro.
With that kind of alternatives, Couto just didn’t stand a chance.

I did not. I saw coconut oil and figured it might be. It mentioned a brush on the side of the box, but I can’t remember if it read with or without.
From the couto.pt site. Brushless it is. I will still give it a go. Might be saved for those quick evening second shaves before dinner.
I really really really dig the scent but wish it had more staying power..... cooking is nice in the summer too.
