First attempt with a straight this morning. Overall, it went well, there is a learning curve though. I could get the flat areas good enough, but had difficulty getting a good angle on the contours.

I'll keep trying! It's kinda cool!

Congratulation on your first shave with a straight razor.

Indeed it does become a better shave in time. However the enjoyment starts with a guys first shave.

Great, just remember that with a little patience, the whole shave can feel like the flat bits do.

If you pull (stretch) the skin, you will find a lot of the contours become flat. Also the razor shaves closer and better.

Congrats and welcome to the str8 side. Iv'e been at it 6 months and it does get better every day. The only way to go IMHO.
