No, it's definitely an Old Type. they didn't use those handles for NI's, as far as I can see in Krumholz. I can't tell what kind of old type it is though...

In one e-batch, i got a bunch of handles and head-types, a couple similar to your photo, but I'm not sure what they are or belong to!

It's definitely an Old Style made from 1906 to I think 1921. The ones prior to 1906 had double flared rings at the top. This is from a 1915 ad. It has the single flared ring at the top like yours:

The New Improved did not have any rings around the bottom whereas the Old style has two.

These are the ones for thicker blades? Are they usable with modern blade?
