Could this happen to you?

I have been a dedicated wet shaver since 2000. I bought a Trumpers brush and the creams and never looked back. This year, i switched from my trusted Mach3 in it's various guises and took the plunge into DE razors. I collected a few, broke 1 and settled down with 1 or 2. The rest of them don't get a look in.
Now, the reason for this posting is somewhat vain. Since taking up DE shaving, I have had more women hit on me directly than ever before. Take into consideration I am the wrong side of 40 and this becomes even more bizarre a story. I read somewhere that DE shaving does actually exfoliate your skin and remove a layer of dead skin cells but until now, I never knew it would have such an effect on the opposite sex. I am not sure if any of you out there on the B&B forum have had a similar experience to mine

Since taking up DE shaving you may be paying more attention to the way you look in other ways whether you realize it or not. If you feel that your shave makes you look better, your increased confidence and relaxation may be coming through.

Or you could be one of those men who come into their own after 40....I have to say I've gotten more interest as I've gotten past 40...and I'm a not-rich-by-a-long-shot English teacher.

Granted your post left you open to some funny replies I would agree with you indirectly.

Reasons, your taking more time with DE shaving which means you are taking more pride in your appearance.

When you feel good about your self-image it will be reflect in the way you carry yourself around others. That in one word is confidence.

Women like men who are confident.
