Finally finished this restoration! Here was my original post about it: European antique store find: F. Herder #4 6/8 Full Wedge

I made the scale out of Gaboon ebony and finished with Tru-oil

Thanks Malocchio! These are rough estimates
Polishing: 6 hours
Honing: 10 hours (took forever to set the bevel properly)
Carving, sanding, finishing scale: maybe 15 hours
