Colognes with longevity and sillage

I wasn't either, till a year ago, when I bought Knize Ten. It is truly amazing and made me want even more flavors.

I haven't seen it on this thread but Imaginary Authors lasts forever on my skin- to the point where I can't wear it. I like the top notes & the middle notes but the base notes last forever---too much.

Typically aftershaves don't get great longevity, colognes are a little better, EdT's are better yet and Eau de Parfum gets better longevity than all of them.

You were referring to Clubman Special Reserve which like Aqua Velva Musk is referred to as an aftershave/cologne.
Clubman Special reserve is a skin scent for about 2 to 3 hours. Aqua Velva Musk lasts for about 5 hours and has good sillage.

Azzaro Pour Homme eau de toilette has very nice longevity and sillage as does JPG's Le Male and Paul Sebastian cologne.

Most anything from Montale, although Black Aoud, Oud Cuir d'Arabie and Patchouli Leaves really stand out.

Vintage Givenchy Gentleman is a pretty strong hit and last a while. It's usually available on eBay quite cheap but hold out for old civet laden stuff not the reformulated juice.
