Collection Update - pic heavy

Some of you will be familiar with the pics I took about this time last year of my collection. They are in a thread here.

Since then I've won a few, low more than a few, made some purchases from other collectors (thanks, if you are reading this you know who you are :D) and also added some brushes, most of which are not shown here.

So I needed more space and last weekend picked up a couple of second hand cabinets, you can see pics of the new cabinets and the old one below:

I transferred most of the collection from the old cabinet to the new today but ran out of shelves, will have to get some more made, and ended up having to cram them in with boxed razors still remaining in their boxes but some others displayed a bit more. It will look better when I have the other shelves in and I can display them all with less crowding. The Techs will remain in the old cabinet and I have quite a few in awaiting cleaning up yet.

Anyway, you don't want to 'listen' to me you want pics - so here are a few to start:

Unfortunately today I discover my DSLR is broken so these are all iPhone pics :thumbdown

Yeah, yeah, I know.

They really are still crowded in there.

You can't really see what it there can you - are these any better?

[sigh] I've have to update my listing of what it stored where now ...

Anyway, that is the last of the pics until I get my camera repaired - enjoy!

Mark, That's an outstanding collection you have on display:thumbup:  I hope to have a collection as fabulous as yours in the future:001_cool:

Edit: And thanks a ton for parting with one of your Coronation Tech sets and Aristocrat #16!. Now my Coronation Trio is complete and I have the very first of Gold plated British Aristocrats in my modest collection!

Sir, as an officer of Razor Protective Services I believe I'm going to have to take custody at least two thirds of those poor, poor razors. The squalid conditions that you have them living in, crammed one on top of the other, are simply unacceptable! I'll bet you don't even allow them time out of doors to play in the fresh air. Shame. Shame, I say, sir!

Nice collection, Mark. I suppose a doff of the hat should go to Mrs. Mark 1966 for tolerating your madness?

LOL - yes. She is a keeper. Let's just say that I have learned not to make any comments about shoes, handbags etc when they appear - although as long as you don't tell, I think I'm still way ahead!

I'm also fortunate that her father has a vintage car and I occasionally threaten to collect them

I should have mentioned that these ones are all cased, some with shippers etc too. They are too jammed in at present and thus most of the shippers you see still have their sets within them. I am a little concerned about Razor Protective Services coming and confiscating them so I hide me location - they do need more space though!

Some of the Aussie members have seen them when we had a BBQ at my place. They are in part of my garage which isn't used for cars. It has these, a pool table, old TV and P/S2 and my workbench. Kinda like a little man cave ....

My uncased ones are in another cabinet - should get a pic of that too and load it up for completeness.

BTW - I've also seen some pics from the collections a couple of you guys have too in threads around here and they are pretty impressive, so don't go giving me a hard time :biggrin1:

 Wow! That´s great. Congratulation to this very nice collection. It looks like you have more sets then me - or more place to display them
