Colgate's Shaving Stick - vintage

I saw this the other day and was wondering if anyone has used Colgate Shave stick before. Looks well used. Was thinking it maybe worth picking up just for the container. I bet I could get my Arko stick in to this for travel. What would be a fair price to offer on a purchase like this?

I think I've seen them between $8-15 on eBay.

I have one of those tins....Arko fits great (a new stick is a bit tall for the tin, but diameter is perfect).

I've picked some of these tins up on eBay also. Prices vary based on the tin's condition. As a Valobra and Palmolive (Colgate) Shaving Stick user I can tell you that both Soaps fit perfectly into these containers. Just be sure you do not purchase the Mini size tin as they are out there and will absolutely not work with the two sticks mentioned.

Nice tins. They seem worth about $10. There are a couple at my local antique mall, but I only use Tabac shave sticks (come with their own tube) so I don't need them. I do have a mini Colgate shave stick in tin (1 oz) and a full sized Colgate Shave stick Refill, but I haven't had a chance to use them yet.
