What's new

Cohiba Behike 52's.

I very rarely smoke cigars (between 0-2 a year, sometimes going 3-4 years without smoking a one) but I just got a box of these and i'm surprised to say, they live up to the hype. While i'm not sure their near $40 a stick price is worth it, they are definitely something special. Amazing drawl, smooth as a worn worry stone, carmely, nutty and incredibly relaxing. Definitely in the top 5 smokes i've had the pleasure of enjoying and i've had the pleasure of trying most of the top rated smokes.

I'll work on a more detailed review - but has anyone else tried these and if so, thoughts?

Good score!!!

they are truly fantastic cigars. flawlessly manufactured, beautiful wrapper. nice spice (but not overbearing) and a hint of light peppery notes over a base of leather/chocolate/nutty creamy goodness.. an epic cigar. Not too strong, though the last 2 inches can easily knock a neophyte on their a@@

I've only smoked two of mine, the other's I've put away to age. but they are, IMO, the best of the Cohiba line since their Millenium special edicion torpedos released in 1999. and maybe even better than those were (alas mine are all smoked so I can't do a comparison but from memory)

definitely put a portion of the box away, I foresee these aging extremely well!!!

BTW, if you can score any fo the 54 or 56s... they are just as good. the 56 is my favorite (Double robusto size)... it's a meal!

and smoke em in good health!!!

dangit, at the local cigar and pipe store tonight, hey were closing shop early, threw my my pipe cleaners told me to come back tomorrow to pay since the interac machine was off for the night, i thought i was going to get out of there on the cheap under five bucks lol but you have me curious enough to inquire if they have these guys on hand, if its 40 for you yanks though im guessing on my side of the border they command a serious toll

I do believe they are the most expensive production cigar on the planet.... but they are divine!!!! truly fantastic smokes!!

and Habanos SA has their best rollers on them to boot.. so no issues being too tight/no draw as with many other of the Habanos sticks.

The recently released Behike's are not the same as The Behike released in 2006, and were approximately $440 apiece at the time.
