Cobalt TGN Finest 2

Here is my new TGN Finest 2. I am not sure how I feel about the hair just yet. It has softer tips than the regular finest but it is less dense and has less backbone. I will give an update after I give it more time and use.

I've ordered 26 and 28 TGN finest 2, I might knock a mm or 2 off the loft that I was going to set them at after reading your comments. Yes, an update after a few uses would be great! Many thanks.

My impression of the TGN Finest is that I like it well enough, but would probably prefer less backbone. I like when they feel squishy as they splay for lack of a better term.

I'm with Jarick that these may be positive developments. It sounds like it may be more like Simpsons 2 band. I may have set my 22mm TGN Finest Fan too low, but it is not a brush I am very fond of. I hope others with the F2 will chime in on this thread.

Very nice brush. I've got a 28mm TGN 2 band finest and it might be my favorite brush i've tried. it's like a big pillow. love it.

I ordered and returned a finest 2 knot because it was not characteristic of the two band knots I have become accustomed to. I felt it was too limp or lacking in backbone. fyi
