I recently ran across a half-used bottle of Clubman Special Reserve that I hadn't touched in years. I used to find the scent overpowering and the powdery finish almost suffocating. This time, I decided to try just a few drops in WH. What a world of difference! The polished wood and old leather armchair scents really shine through, and the powder is muted. Tried the same approach with regular Clubman, which I had also set aside, and got similar good results. Next up for this treatment: Tres Flores.

Love me some SR. Doesn't seem to skunk as much in the plastic as my Clubman original. Now I decant all of my Clubman products into hot sauce glasses to avoid the problem all together.
I mixed Tabac cologne into witch hazel for another great aftershave splash. It's a good trick!
