Cleaning white Jack Purcells

Hey all,


Purchased a pair of JP CVO LPs a couple months back and they are starting to get dirty. I've heard everyhting from throwing them in the wash to putting them in the dishwasher.

Any advice for washing white canvas shoes?

I have always thrown them in the washing machine (no laces). Afterwards, I stuffed them with paper towels for a day and they have come out fine.
