Cleaning up L'occitane Metal Container

After I cleared the soap, there are some soap/debris not sure how do I label it.
How do I clean it and make it as new. I soak in water and dish washer detergent and I'm unable to clean it up.

Do you want the tin to look shiny?

Scrape the remaining soap out with your thumb. Then rinse with hot water. It shouldn't be hard to clean soap out of a container.
