Board consensus says they are made by Parker, a company well known for ongoing quality control problems. They are best avoided.

well i know most of there razors are parkers but wasn't sure about his one specifically http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522941/6460096.htm, i have never seen it any were else
just get a gilette and save yourself the issues.

Why would you buy a Parker razor, when you can buy a Merkur 23C from Atlanta Barber Supply for $21.95. They have the new Merkur head and shave just like my 34C. I bought two of them, one for myself and one for a gift. They also sell many of the classic aftershaves, Pinaud and others. If I am remembering correctly, you order $50 or more they have free shipping.
From my own personal experience, skip it. I was snookered by their marketing and bought it. It's big, clunky, poorly balanced and kind of cheap. I bought an EJ86 two weeks later and have been in love ever since. HUGE difference in my shaves. This is one item in shaving where I believe it pays to get it right the first time so it's okay to shell out a few extra claims.
