Not my favourite plating material but these are simply gorgeous. LeCoq and L’ESSOR.

After the first shave the L'ESSOR is pretty similar to the De Luxe, with a more rigid blade and this is always welcome.

By the way regarding plating, the L'Essor was offered in nickel plate as well as is my example. My Le Coq is chrome.

Lucky you, having a pack of blades, these are seemingly rare. My razor case was suspiciosly thick and heavy (and is stamped "inox" on its bottom) so pulled out a magnet, it's made of steel.
Beautcakes, the both of ‘em.

L'ESSOR and Le Coq/Feather, beard and head shave respectively. The first even with its differential aggression is a capable and friendly daily driver. The second a la the iKon Tech, has enough exposure that its safety bar is of little consequence, virtually ensuring a nick on the back of my head as I set up the proper angle. Still , a good time had by all.

Had exactly the same impressions. The LeCoq is actually a devette, imho.
