That antique lamp to the left of your tree, is that a reflector behind it to increase the light output? If so, I have never seen anything like that before. That's a real neat antique.

Yes, that's a reflector. The stand was what Grandma had and used when Mom was a kid. The holder/wall mount is heavy cast iron and it swivels.

Something we’ve done every year since my first was born (7 yrs ago).
I really like that tree. So inviting. Everyone’s going a great job this year!

Never thought I’d like a white tree
Drilled a hole in the back of each of these ornaments and inserted a light from the string that’s lighting the tree

It’s hard to tell, but there’s a small knoll I was trying to climb up. My feet kept sliding. I need to find some small “chains” the next time it’s snows!
That is beautiful. I like how it glows.
That is really something. Very time consuming but well worth the effort.

I've had snow on the ground and temps in the 50s. Also I've ran barefoot through the snow before. It's like running barefoot across August beach sand. Go quickly, don't stop, and don't think about it.

Yep! Pretty much. However, when I was younger, I’d stand on hockey ice and carry conversations with people in bare feet.

Thankfully no. They had skates. I just need to mind my toes though. Skates across the toes would hurt a little bit
