Chipped cap on tech - effect?

As you can see in the pictures I acquired a tech which has 2 chips on the cap head. Will it affect the shave? Fixes, if needed? Is it worth the bother?

Unless you shave with the top cap directly on your face, you'll be fine.

Try it. If you like it then no fix is needed. If the chips bother you then they could be easily smoothed off, or the cap replaced. I would not spend any money on repairs.

That Tech is old enough that the base metal is brass, so the chip won't lead to corrosion. If you don't feel any roughness from the chip, then you're good.

There are Techs that have gone through multiple wars, this is nothing.

It’s nobbit but a scratch. Can be smoothed out of you want to do it. I would just use it and enjoy it. Techs are the best.

I have a couple of techs were the cap is not smooth on the edge. They shave good and I don't feel the unevenness. Even with the tech preforming well you still wonder if its smooth and even will it be even better. I think this can become more of a mental thing.
