Been lurking around and figured I would officially introduce myself.
I am J.D. I live just outside Houston in Katy Texas. I have wanted to get into straight razor shaving for a while but never took the step for myself. My wife ended up getting me a Faultless razor from Whipped Dog for our anniversary. I have to disclose that I am rocking a full thick red beard right now and have only fully shaved once in the past year but have been using my new razor for throat and cheek trims. It has given me some good practice since it is small areas and doesn't have to be a perfect shave since it is fairly hidden. I haven't stepped up to a good brush yet just due to the fact that I am not doing that much shaving but I will be getting one soon.
